Mason Bay Wind is a community-scale renewable energy facility to be located on remote, private property on the outskirts of the town of Jonesport, Maine.

Mason Bay Wind has been designed and sited with exceptional thoughtfulness and consideration for its neighbors. Neighborhood impact is negligible due to its isolated location, and community benefits abound.

Jonesporters know well that their town is "just about as windy as they come", and many Jonesporters have told the Beale brothers that they feel Jonesport must be a great place for a wind energy project, because there is "clearly plenty of wind and certainly plenty of land".

Environmental impacts are minimal, with no wetlands, critical habitats, or high-value species affected.
